It’s time to put an end to this smoking nonsense once and for all!
Go from 2 packs a day to zero... in 1 hour flat!
No matter how long you have smoked, or how many times you’ve tried to quit, or what methods you have tried, we have a solution that works. In fact, it works with the vast majority of patients and it could work for you.
Forget patches, forget pills, forget gum and forget suffering through terrible withdrawal. It’s just not needed, and it usually doesn’t work anyway.
There are 3 huge problems with how most people try (and fail) to quit smoking
- Most methods are hard… like really REALLY hard, you have to be super organised, they have nasty side effects, and are often uncomfortable.
- Most methods replace one bad habit with another… Patches, gum and pills are supposed to slowly wean you off cigarettes, but in reality they keep you addicted to nicotine making it incredibly difficult to actually quit when the time comes (no wonder why they have such a low success rate)
- Most methods are not tailored to your specific needs… everyone is different, and your specific needs and your thoughts that drive your decisions (both good and bad) are your own, that’s why every client of ours is treated differently.
For a quit smoking method to work, it needs to address the real issues, and be so easy to follow that you can manage it while drunk (yes, that’s correct, it still works when you are drunk).
If you are located in Melbourne, the Quit Smoking Melbourne Clinic can help.
The quit smoking method designed specifically for you, so that it works when you arecrazy busy, super stressed, and even while you are out drinking,
Myth: The easiest way to quit is using patches or gum
Fact: A recent study of 900 patients quitting smoking found a success rate of only 35.5% at one year, whereas our system has more than double that success rate!
Myth: E-Cigarettes will help you quit smoking
Fact: A study conducted by the University of California found that those who had used e-cigarettes were actually less likely to quit smoking at all
Myth: Quitting smoking is expensive
Fact: The cost of quitting is less than a month of smoking for most people, so at that price there really is nothing to lose (except a bad habit!)
Myth: You won’t be able to do the things you love anymore if you quit
Fact: We don’t believe that removing all temptation is a good solution (or a practical one), with our help, most don’t even think of smoking while out, stressed, eating or whatever your trigger is
Myth: Quitting = Suffering
Fact: It doesn’t have to. Yes, many ways to quit are very hard, but it’s all about the approach. Our approach takes the stress out of quitting and reframes things in a way that many people don’t even feel the urge to ever smoke again. Yup, that’s right, they actually don’t even feel the urge anymore. Crazy right?
Quitting Smoking, But Nothing Else
I know what you are thinking, “but I can’t go out to the pub without smoking”, well, yes you can, we can help you with that.
Or “but what about my morning coffee?”, well yes we can help you with that too. Best of all it will taste better than you can ever remember within a short time of quitting.
Quitting smoking doesn’t mean quitting other things. We just help you to re-position your thoughts in a way that you no longer want to smoke. You still enjoy everything else, but you just understand things a little better and have the tools required to deal with it all.
That’s what sets us apart, we tailor a solution to your exact needs so that we address your needs, thoughts, reasons, challenges and triggers so that you have instant and lasting success
Sounds a little weird? It's actually a really common way to quit smoking, and many studies have shown it to be THE most effective way to quit smoking.
The methods our Melbourne Clinic uses are tried and tested methods for quitting smoking. Contact the Quit Smoking Melbourne Clinic today to learn more.

You see, my dad died in 2005. He was 66 & too young to die. He didn’t look after his health and ultimately smoking contributed to ending his life too soon. Now, I help other individuals and families avoid this heartache.
I expect that if my dad had an easy way to quit he would have. To be honest I don’t know what he tried if anything before it was too late for him.
What he needed, was something that changed his mindset. And empowering people with the tools needed to quit smoking using hypnotherapy has been my mission ever since.
With Master Practitioner level hypnotherapy training in the world renowned method of NLP and as a certified and experienced Hypnotherapist, having provided hypnotherapy for many years, you can be confident that you are in good hands

Answers to your questions
Hypnotherapy is the use of the totally natural state of hypnosis to create change. While you are totally in control and aware of what is going on, we work with the most powerful part of your mind, that’s the subconscious, to help you change the way you think. You can move, talk, open your eyes or even go to the bathroom if you wanted. It’s a bit like that zone between awake and asleep, almost like daydreaming. It’s a state of focussed concentration where you are receptive to suggestion. Usually you will remember everything that’s been said, and might not ‘feel’ any different. Sometimes people feel a lightness, or heaviness and this varies person to person. The intention and engagement is what matters, not how it feels. You’ll probably feel relaxed, or even excited afterwards and just keen to get on with your day.
Have you ever driven your car, and get to where you want to go… only to think.. wow I’m here already - I don’t remember that last bit.. almost like you missed a bit of the journey. Well that’s an example of the state of environmental hypnosis.
Using your powerful imagination, and working with your beliefs and goals, we get all the parts of your mind on the same page to help you get the changes you want. We get rid of the conflict that goes on in your mind. Hypnotherapy helps you to do what you consciously have wanted to do, but just haven’t been able to manage it.
When we first tested this process years ago, through our network, we did give a money back guarantee. It didn’t work so well. Our success rates dropped because people had a reason to go back to smoking (short term cash in their pocket). We call that secondary gain. We don’t want you to have a reason to go back to smoking, and we want to help you to be successful. Instead we give you our guarantee of support for one year. When you remain a non smoker, that’s worth so much more to you than if we gave you your money back anyway.
If you have an average IQ, and are able to follow suggestions there’s a significant chance you can be hypnotised by a hypnotherapist. In our sessions, we explain what to expect.
As you would have chosen to come into the hypnosis session willingly, and of your own accord, you are likely to allow it and not resist.
We explain what it is, what it isn’t, what it feels like, what the different depths are about, and even if they are important. We spend a decent amount of time talking before we even get to the formal hypnosis part of the session, so you will be relaxed and ready.
Hypnotherapy is a natural state that we go into and out of all the time, naturally, so yes it’s safe.
It’s a state of focused concentration where you are receptive to suggestion, specifically of the things you come into the session for, and that’s a good thing.
You are aware and in control, if you wanted to scratch your nose, open your eyes, or even go to the bathroom you could. If you wanted to end the session you could do that too.
Most people find it relaxing and enjoyable, and are even pleasantly surprised by how good they feel afterwards.
We are part of a leading network of specialists. We use advanced processes and tools that have been in use within this network for well over 15 years. Thousands of people have quit smoking, nationally and internationally using the system we use.

What makes us different is that due to our overwhelming results, we are so confident in our success, that we offer you a guarantee of support for one year. That’s ongoing support at no additional charge.
We can do this simply because, you most likely won’t need it. If we didn’t have high success rates, it simply wouldn’t make sense for us to do this.
We keep in touch with you as well, shortly after the session and into the future. We want to hear how great you are doing and feeling as a non smoker and how your life has changed.
The average person smokes 1 pack a day, or more. This means that within 1 to 2 months you are going to be ahead money wise.
So you’re going to spend about $590. BUT you are actually going to SAVE $8,000 to $12,000 per year! It’s the best investment you’ll ever make. That’s like getting an average $10,000 pay rise or bonus every single year and it goes up with inflation – because let’s face it – cigarettes aren’t getting any cheaper. In fact, with the latest increase, cigarettes now cost over $1.40 each. That’s more than ONE DOLLAR every time you light up!! It’s too expensive NOT to quit cigarettes. You can’t afford NOT to quit cigarettes. We want you to Quit so we also offer simple Payment Plans to make Quitting Easy.
So why don’t you take the money that you would have spent on cigarettes anyway, and invest it on becoming a non-smoker. From then on you’ll be saving several hundred dollars every month, regardless how much you smoke. This typically works out to be more than eight thousand dollars a year or more. That’s like getting a yearly bonus of eight to twelve thousand dollars a year before tax. When you think about it you can’t afford NOT to quit cigarettes.
Yes sometimes that's true. There are three main reasons for that. We do constant ongoing research of other methods, and we have found that the three main reasons why some Hypnotherapists charge as little as $100-$200 a session are:
- Other Hypnotherapists usually do a program of 3-4 sessions, which means not only do you have to go back over and over again, but you end up paying $400 to $800 anyway. Plus the extra time commitment!!
- They often only have a 30-40% success rate.
- Even if you're one of the lucky ones, the 30-40% who respond well to the placebo effect and basic hypnosis techniques, and actually quit cigarettes, the change is frequently only temporary.
That’s why they can’t backup their work with a 12 month guarantee of support. If you look at the entire field, our rates are very reasonable. Some charge over a thousand dollars for smoking cessation, and we have found one or two charging as little as $99 (usually unqualified and inexperienced). In this profession, as well as in any other, you get what you pay for. With us, for only $590 you get the best of advanced neuro-hypnotic techniques and also the hypnotherapy expertise in QUIT Smoking to back up our work with a 12 month guarantee of support.
From the time we start the hypnosis, it takes about an hour.
The length of the whole session is longer as we have lots to cover. Rather than get you back for a 2-4 sessions, like many hypnotherapists do, we like to get things done in one go.
The whole session takes on average between 2 ½ t 3 hours. We take the time to cover everything we need so you walk out a confident non smoker.
Once the session is over, we stay in touch and encourage you to as well. We want to hear how great you are feeling after the session and into the future. If you need any additional support from us, we encourage you to get in touch.
There is no extra charge with our 12 month guarantee of support around quitting smoking.
Firstly enter your details and we will contact you for an initial chat to make sure you are ready to stop smoking for good.
If you are, we go ahead and book in a time for your session. You’re half way there already.
We send you some forms to fill out. You return them before the session. Just in doing this you’re preparing, and on the way to becoming a non smoker.
You meet with your specialist and we have a chat about your specific triggers. We talk about your reasons why you started and also why you want to stop. From the start of the session we help you change the way you think about smoking.
We explain what will happen, what hypnosis is and isn’t. By the time we get to the hypnosis part of the session you’re keen and ready to go.
After hypnosis, we make sure you’re feeling great, with new tools and strategies in hand. You walk out ready and excited to get on with your day as a non smoker.
You walk out feeling confident and knowing you have our ongoing support. We stay in touch as we’re keen to hear how you’re feeling and about the benefits you will notice quite quickly and into the future.
We also love to hear about the holiday’s and all the fun stuff you get up to with your new savings.
- There’s no pain
- No major life changes are required
- It’s chemical free
- It’s natural, no prescription or drugs involved
- No patches, or pills (so no side effects)
- Definitely no needles
That stays within the realm of stage hypnosis, which is a fun way to show the power of hypnosis. Remember that hypnosis is a state where you remain in control. Stage hypnotists very selectively chose participants to bring on stage. They look for volunteers who are there for fun and will go along with suggestions easily. As long as the suggestions are within the realms of what they’re comfortable doing for fun (like bark like a dog!), they’ll go along with it.
If someone is bought to the stage and isn’t following along, they will often quickly be dismissed and re seated in the audience, as they are choosing to consciously resist suggestions. They simply don’t want to comply (proving they are in control). That’s OK, but it does make you wonder why they volunteered. Often these people have been nudged onto the stage by someone else and they’re not really comfortable to be in the limelight.
It’s the same as when someone comes to a hypnotherapy session to stop smoking. If they’re there for someone else, a partner or family, it’s going to be harder for them to be successful. If you are thinking of coming to a hypnotherapy session to stop smoking, make sure it’s for you. When you do it for you, you’ll choose to follow the suggestions, and agree to the changes. Not because you have to, but because you want to.
Thanks to Hollywood and movies people sometimes worry they won’t be in control with hypnotherapy. That’s not the case at all. One of the very first suggestions we will give you is that you are absolutely be in control the whole time.
If you aren’t comfortable you have the power to say so, or even end the session. Hypnosis is a totally comfortable and natural state where you’ll be focussed and receptive to the suggestions you choose to agree with. You’ll hear what’s going on, and usually remember everything.
It’s in fact a state where you’re more in control than usual, because that critical part of your mind that’s kept you stuck in the past is out of the way and open to change and new ways of thinking.
Our guarantee is one of support for a full 12 months. Part of the reason that we can do that is that we make sure you are really ready before we see you. We don’t take on everyone who contacts us as clients. Some people are just not ready YET. Some people have a range of other issues that need to be dealt with, either at the same time or before they quit smoking. By making sure you are really ready and have new and healthy coping mechanisms and alternate behaviours in place – we are happy to give you our guarantee of support for 12 months with confidence, and you have our commitment on that.
We wouldn’t want you to stop smoking and take up some other unhealthy habit, or just be plain old cranky. (Your family doesn’t want that either!) Together, we make sure you are really ready to not only quit smoking but feel great as a non-smoker for good and replace smoking with a new healthier behaviour. We confidently give you our guarantee of support for 12 months, and that means we work with you, so you become a non-smoker. Usually, that’s in just one session if we need to do an additional session, or more work together around smoking we do. At no charge.
This is a common concern. Instead of it holding you back, we use that strong mindedness to help you. Once you understand that hypnosis is a totally natural state that you chose to allow, it will become easy for you to allow yourself to accept the suggestions and go into the natural receptive state.
You can use that stubbornness to help you with the issue you want to change, turning it into an asset that works for you, instead of against you.
We get the different parts of your mind, including that strong willed part working together. We give it a new job to look after you in a new and beneficial way.
Usually excited and motivated to get out and enjoy the rest of your day. Often when people come straight out of hypnosis they feel a lightness, or like they have just had a big sleep. It’s a good feeling.
Quite often it feels like it’s been 10 minutes, when in fact it’s been much longer than that. This can be an amusing surprise at the time.
Most people are keen to get out and share what hypnosis feels like with their friends and family, as it’s often not what they expected.
Usually you would remember everything, and have a new perspective or way of thinking about the issue such as smoking, that you came in for.
Before the session begins, there are forms to complete and be signed, which thoroughly explain consent and confidentiality around your privacy. It’s important you are comfortable to talk openly.
Your personal details, history and everything shared in your session can be important to you creating lasting change. Hypnotherapists are bound by the same protocols around privacy as many other therapists and professionals. Unless there was an exceptional circumstance, or you have given written permission otherwise your details remain confidential.

Stopping smoking can obviously be hard once the habit is ingrained.
That’s because it becomes an unconscious habit, like an automatic function. Your conscious mind isn’t in control anymore.
As many as 70% of smokers want to stop, but they keep on doing it year after year. Why is that? Because it’s hard to consciously break a habit that’s become an unconscious behaviour.
That’s why hypnotherapy is so successful, because we work with your unconscious mind.
Using hypnotherapy, we break up the triggers and connections you have with smoking, including the reasons why you started in the first place.
We replace the habit of smoking with new healthier habits that you chose. Often it’s simple things like taking 5 minutes out or having a sip of water.
You’re left feeling good about being rid of something you didn’t really want to do anyway.
Yes. In fact, it’s typical for you to be even more aware of what’s going on than usual. Typically, you would notice the sounds around you near and far. If you needed to attend to something, or even go to the bathroom, you could. You could just as easily decide to ignore an interruption if you chose to. You’ll have thoughts that come into your mind. That’s fine. You’ll just allow them in and out and get back to listening to the suggestions being given.
You decide what ideas and suggestions you accept or reject, as you are totally in control.
It’s a totally comfortable and natural state that we go into and out of all the time. Most people remember everything that was said throughout the session.
Hypnosis is a state where you are absolutely in control the whole time. You chose to disclose or otherwise, to share or not to share whatever you decide.
For a session based around smoking, there is rarely a need to talk in detail about your history or anything that would be of a confidential nature. If there was such a need or desire, it would be under your conscious control anyway.
The session is based around you changing the way you feel about smoking cigarettes, bringing you to a place where you feel back in control. In a session with us, you’re doing everything that is within your will, not against it.
You’re working together one on one, with the hypnotherapist to achieve what you have consciously wanted to, which is breaking the habit of smoking.
The short answer is no. Stage shows are fun, and that’s their purpose. When someone volunteers to go onstage during a ‘performance’ they have an intention to have some fun.
The stage hypnotist is skilled in selecting from the audience people that are highly suggestable, and those that are up for some fun. This is determined early on during the introduction or when the show first gets going. If a person isn’t following suggestions (proving they are in control) they are either not chosen to go on stage to begin with, or asked to sit quietly quite quickly.
I too, have seen people do all sorts of fun and crazy things during both hypnosis stage shows and shows where no hypnosis was used at all. It’s all about the intention on the day. If you came into a hypnotherapy session, and the intention was to stop smoking, suggestions around that are what you would choose to accept.
Remembering, hypnosis is a state where you are in control, you get to decide what you take on.
Hypnotherapy has great overall success rates for many changes. Firstly you must commit to the change. You must want it, for yourself, and feel ready to kick the habit of smoking forever. It’s fine if you are doing it with the support of others, but for the highest chance of your ongoing success, it must be for you and about you. This reinforces that hypnotherapy can help and support you to achieve what you want. It cannot make you do anything.
A great meta-analysis study that was conducted and published in New Scientist Magazine in 1992 backs up the effectiveness of hypnotherapy.
“Hypnosis is the most effective way of giving up smoking, according to the largest ever scientific comparison of ways of breaking the habit. Willpower, it turns out, counts for very little”
With the aim of finding the most effective method to stop smoking, Frank Schmidt and research student Chockalingham Viswesvaran from the University of Iowa conducted a meta-analysis, statistically combining together the results of more than 600 studies, covering nearly 72,000 people. The results, which were published in the Journal of Applied Psychology, and included 48 studies of hypnosis covering 6000 smokers, clearly showed that hypnosis was three times more effective than Nicotine Replacement Therapy.
What are the most common options to help you stop smoking?
- Hypnotherapy 60% success rate and upwards...
- Acupuncture up to 25% success rate
- Champix (Varenicline) drug up to 22% (side effects common)
- Zyban (Drug) up to 21% success rate (side effects common)
- Nicotine patches up to 13% (side effects common)
- Nicotine Gum up to 11% (side effects common)
- Will Power 5%
(New Scientist Magazine, Vol 136, Issue 1845, 31/10/92, page 6).
Our method uses the combined techniques of advanced hypnotherapy and Neuro Linguistic Programming or NLP, so our success rates are overall even greater.
Although the words and language used in affirmations might be similar to those used in hypnotherapy, there’s a major difference.
In a hypnotherapy session we work with the subconscious/unconscious mind. We elicit direct responses (answers to questions) from the subconscious and these are sometimes different from what you consciously would expect. Direct and specific suggestions are given, including post hypnotic suggestions. These can help you to change the way you think about something quite quickly.
With affirmations, there is no response to confirm or reject whether the subconscious is accepting the suggestion.
Affirmations can be a useful stand alone tool. Quite often we use these to compliment hypnotherapy sessions.
